IDAMAR Story

The Story behind Plaza ARIANNA

IDAMAR International Investment Group S.R.L. was founded in March 2022 in the Dominican Republic with the aim of combining Swiss/German quality and reliability with Caribbean flair. We do not see ourselves as a real estate company, but as pioneers of a way of life that understands luxury with sustainability, trust, and connection to people as central elements of its work.

To achieve this, it is not enough to build, offer, and sell real estate. It takes time to understand the essence of the country and its people. We have gone down this path of experience so that we can stand by the people we come into contact with in the future as a trustworthy and competent partner, in line with our IDAMAR family philosophy.

Part of this philosophy is that we do not recommend or sell anything that we have not tested ourselves. This is how our first project came about.

In the future, the building will also serve as the new headquarters of the IDAMAR International Investment Group, among other things. Together with engineer Alejandro Santana and his team, Plaza ARIANNA is an IDAMAR showcase project that meets these criteria 100%.

Location

Las Terrenas is currently undergoing exponential growth, and we are naturally following these developments very closely. A key mega-project is the establishment of the JUMBO hypermarket with 16,000 square meters of retail space, a 6,000 square meter commercial zone including 500 parking spaces, and the construction of 140 apartments on the entire site. This project is located directly on the main thoroughfare from the capital Santo Domingo and will significantly fuel the development of Las Terrenas from April 2026 onwards.


Plaza ARIANNA is located directly across the street. Thousands of people will see this building and its tenants every day. At the same time, the value of the property will increase dramatically as the entire area around the JUMBO development will become the new center of Las Terrenas.

Planning

Planning a project involves much more than just structural engineering and architecture. Above all, it requires knowledge of the possibilities and challenges of a regional project in the Dominican Republic. Our European standards and the exceptional way we interact and collaborate within the IDAMAR family place high demands on our partners, especially when it comes to planning.
In Alejandro Santana, we have found the ideal partner who is a perfect match for us both professionally and personally. His background and experience, which extend far beyond the Dominican Republic, are a central pillar for the future of IDAMAR in the Dominican Republic. Like few others, he combines a European understanding of quality with Dominican market expertise.
All of this has also been incorporated into the first joint IDAMAR project.

Construction

As an engineer and architect, he has the technical skills, but more importantly, as a person of character, he has the ability to implement a plan in such a way that the quality of the planning is reflected in the quality of the construction. Anyone familiar with the average construction quality of even upscale buildings here in the Dominican Republic knows how the differences show. With the completion of the shell, we have now decided to make Plaza ARIANNA public to give interested future members of the IDAMAR family the opportunity to see the quality for themselves.
We want to create transparency in the truest sense of the word, and not hide construction defects behind paint, plaster, and panels. Now is your opportunity to see the quality for yourself before we finish and hand over the individual offices according to customer requirements.
